Set the weekdays for planned work
Workspace admins can choose which weekdays planned work is allowed on from site settings. When you restrict the working week, recurring schedules and calendar-based work only generate on the selected days, so your teamβs planner and calendar match local working patterns.
Who can change this
You need an Admin role in the Operations module to edit site-level working-week settings.
Choose the working weekdays
Open Settings and select the site you want to configure.
Go to the Operations or Scheduling section.
Find the Site Working Week setting.
Select the weekdays when planned work is allowed.
Save your changes.
The exact section name depends on your site configuration. If you cannot see the setting, check whether your site settings are managed externally.
How this affects planned work
Once a weekday is excluded, any recurring or calendar-based schedule will skip that day when generating work orders. This changes both the schedule grid and the calendar output, so workers only see planned work on the days your site operates.
Existing work orders already created on excluded days are not removed or rescheduled automatically.
Future occurrences respect the new working-week choice as soon as it is saved.
Closure calendars and other skip rules still apply on top of the working-week setting.
What to check next
After updating the working week, review your active schedules to confirm upcoming work orders land on the expected days. For how to set recurrence and skip rules on an individual schedule, see Create a Work Schedule.
