Operations Settings
Operations Settings controls site-level behavior for the Operations module. Go to Settings > Operations to manage planned work categories and module options.
Who can access this page
Access to Operations Settings is limited by your Operations module role. If you do not have permission, the page shows You don't have permission to view operations settings. Please contact your administrator.
Planned Work Categories
The Planned Work Categories tab is where you create, edit, and delete the categories used to classify work orders and work schedules. You can also control whether a category is shared with child sites. This tab is visible only if you have permission to view work orders, view work schedules, or manage categories.
Capability | Required role |
|---|---|
Create, edit, or delete a category | Manager or Admin in Operations |
Share a category with child sites | Manager or Admin in Operations (shown only when the site has child sites) |
Categories inherited from a parent site appear as muted rows labelled Inherited from {siteName}. You cannot edit inherited categories locally.
Options
The Options tab contains site-wide toggles that change how work orders and work schedules behave. Toggle a setting and click Save Changes. The tab is read-only if your site configuration is managed externally.
