Link hazardous materials to an incident investigation
Incident investigations can now include a step that links one or more hazardous materials from the site register. Open the investigation, choose Link Hazardous Material, select the materials, add the required notes, and save. The linked materials then appear in the incident timeline with direct links back to each material record.
Add the step
Open the incident investigation.
Select Add Investigation Step.
Choose Link Hazardous Material.
Select one or more materials from the site register.
Add notes. Notes are required.
Save the step.
Notes are required when you add a hazardous material link to an investigation.
What appears in the timeline
After saving, the linked hazardous materials appear in the investigation timeline. Each entry includes a direct link back to the material record in the site register.
