Create a custom dashboard
Open the Dashboards page for your site and click Create Dashboard to build a new dashboard. Name it, choose who can see it, and save. Once the dashboard exists, you can add widgets to track the metrics that matter to your organisation.
Before you start
Creating dashboards requires the insights access level. Members cannot access insights or create dashboards.
Create a dashboard
Go to Dashboards for your site.
Click Create Dashboard. If this is the first dashboard on the site, the empty state also shows a Create Dashboard button with the message Create custom dashboards with widgets to track what matters most to your organisation.
Enter a name for the dashboard.
Under Shared with, select the visibility scope:
Private β Only you can view this dashboard. You own it and can edit it.
Group β All members of the selected group can view this dashboard. You own it and can edit it. Choose the group from the selector that appears.
This Site β Anyone with dashboard access at this site can view this dashboard. You own it and can edit it.
All Sites β Anyone with dashboard access across all sites can view this dashboard. You own it and can edit it. This option is available only when the current site is a parent site.
Click Create Dashboard to save.
Whatβs next
After the dashboard is created, add widgets to display live data such as issues, overdue work, or schedule health. See Add a widget to a dashboard for the steps. For an overview of how sharing and editability work, see Custom dashboards.
