Control when work orders are marked as missed
Work orders linked to a schedule can be automatically marked as missed when they pass their due date. This setting is now off by default and only applies to schedule-linked work orders. Ad-hoc work orders are never automatically marked as missed.
Turn on auto-mark as missed
Go to Operations > Work Orders or Schedules.
Open the schedule you want to configure.
Find the Auto-mark as missed setting.
Toggle it on.
Save the schedule.
When enabled, work orders generated by this schedule are automatically marked as missed when they pass their due date without being completed. When off, work orders remain in their current status until someone manually closes or updates them.
Before you start
You need the Manager or Admin role in Operations to change schedule settings.
