Set up site reporting QR codes
Site admins can print or share QR codes that let people report issues and requests directly to a site, without scanning a specific location or asset first. Each reporting type has its own code, so you can direct people to the right form.
For incident reporting QR codes, including site-wide codes and location or asset labels, see Print and share incident reporting QR codes.
Open the Report Channels tab
Go to your site settings and open the Report Channels tab to see the available QR codes for your site.
Navigate to your site and open Site Settings.
Click the Report Channels tab.
The tab shows separate QR codes for issues and requests.
Print or share a QR code
Choose the reporting type you want to share, then print the code or share the link.
On the Report Channels tab, find the QR code for the reporting type you want to share.
Click Print to generate a printable version, or use the direct link to share digitally.
Distribute the QR code or link to the people who need it.
What each QR code opens
QR code | What it opens |
|---|---|
Issue | The issue reporting form for this site |
Request | The service request form for this site. Users must sign in to submit. |
Test before distributing
Scan the QR code with a phone camera to confirm it opens the correct reporting form before you share it widely.
Point your phone camera at the printed QR code.
Tap the link notification that appears.
Check that the correct reporting form opens in your browser.
For detailed scanning instructions, see QR Code Scanning Workflow.
Once set up, staff and visitors can scan the code to report. To learn more about what happens after an issue is submitted, see Reporting Issues. For service requests, see Submitting Service Requests.
