Add notes to a requirement

Open a standard requirement to add notes that track who wrote them and when. The Notes section lives on the requirement details page and shows every note with its author and timestamp.

How to add a note

  1. Go to the standard that contains the requirement.

  2. Select the requirement to open its detail view.

  3. Find the Notes section in the requirement details.

  4. Enter your note and save it.

The note appears immediately in the Notes section with your name and the time it was added.

Review note history

All saved notes are shown in the standard detail view, listed in order with the author and timestamp for each entry. This gives a full history of who added notes and when, directly on the requirement.

Who can add notes

You need the Manager or Admin role for the Standards module to add notes to a requirement. If you do not see the Notes section or the option to add a note, ask your administrator to update your role in Settings > User Management.
