How the sender name is generated

Notification emails are sent with a From display name that combines your site name and the platform name. The exact format depends on the site name configured for your organization.

• If your site name is blank, the sender name is CalmCompliance.

• If your site name is anything other than CalmCompliance, the sender name is <site name> (via CalmCompliance). For example, a site named Acme Corp sends emails as Acme Corp (via CalmCompliance).

• If your site name is CalmCompliance, the sender name is simply CalmCompliance — the redundant CalmCompliance (via CalmCompliance) suffix is not shown.

The comparison ignores surrounding whitespace and is case-insensitive, so a site named calmcompliance is treated the same as CalmCompliance.
