Manage SFG20 and Uniclass codes for asset classes
Workspace admins with the Admin role for the Premises module can manage SFG20 and Uniclass codes on asset classes to align the internal taxonomy with industry standards. SFG20 codes can be added, edited, and removed; Uniclass codes can be edited.
Before You Start
You need the Admin role for the Premises module. If you do not see the code management options, ask your site administrator to update your permissions in Settings > User Management > Edit Access.
How to Add an SFG20 Code
Go to Premises > Asset Classes and open the class you want to update.
Find the SFG20 block and choose the option to add a code.
Enter the SFG20 code and save.
The code appears on the asset class and is visible in the asset class library.
How to Edit an SFG20 or Uniclass Code
Open the asset class from Premises > Asset Classes.
Find the SFG20 or Uniclass block and choose the option to edit the code.
Update the code and save.
How to Remove an SFG20 Code
Open the asset class from Premises > Asset Classes.
Find the SFG20 block and choose the option to remove the code.
Confirm the removal.
Navigate Large Class Hierarchies
The asset class browser now shows a clearer breadcrumb path and improved tree navigation. Use the breadcrumb trail to move up to parent classes, and expand the tree to browse child classes. Richer icon badges help you identify class types quickly in large libraries.
