Map SFG20 folders to locations and asset classes
Before SFG20 content materialises into Calm, you must confirm how each F-iQ folder maps to a premises location, an asset class, or nothing at all. This per-regime Folder Mapping step controls where imported schedules appear and which asset classes they link to. Nothing from the regime is live until the mapping is confirmed.
Before you start
You need an active SFG20 connection and at least one imported regime. If you have not connected SFG20 yet, start with the SFG20 Integration guide.
Open the Folder Mapping tab
Go to the Integrations list and open the SFG20 integration.
Select the Folder Mapping tab.
Choose the regime you want to map from the regime selector.
If the regime has never been confirmed, the page shows a Needs Mapping alert with the message: Nothing from this regime is live in Calm until you confirm how each folder maps to a location or asset class.
Choose a target for each folder
The table lists every F-iQ folder node in the regime. For each row, choose one target:
Location — the folder becomes a premises location in Calm. Imported schedules under this folder will be linked to that location.
Asset Class — the folder becomes a linked asset class. Imported schedules under this folder will attach to that class.
Ignore — the folder and its schedules are skipped and do not appear in Calm.
Rows that are new or unconfirmed show an Unconfirmed badge. Rows that have changed since the last confirmation show a Review badge.
Save a draft
Set the targets for every folder you want to import.
Click Save Draft.
The draft is stored but the regime is still not live. You can return later to finish the mapping.
Confirm the mapping
When every folder is mapped correctly, click Confirm Mapping.
Calm starts the sync automatically and materialises the regime into the site.
After confirmation, the regime status changes and the schedules appear under the mapped locations and asset classes.
Re-confirm when new folders arrive
When F-iQ adds new folders to an existing regime, the regime selector shows a New Folders Need Review alert with the message: {n} new folder(s) arrived since the last confirmation. Review and confirm to materialise them.
Open the Folder Mapping tab and select the regime.
Map the new folders to Location, Asset Class, or Ignore.
Click Save Draft, then click Re-confirm Mapping.
Only the new folders are materialised; existing mapped content is left unchanged.
What happens next
After confirmation, the SFG20 sync imports schedules and tasks into the mapped locations and asset classes. Schedules with the same base SFG20 code are collapsed into a single asset class under the SFG20 Asset Types root.
Return to the Regimes tab to check the sync status, or open the Assets tab to review asset matches.
