Set up and confirm your SFG20 sync
Open the SFG20 integration, map each F-iQ folder to a location or asset class on the Folder Mapping tab, then click Confirm Mapping so the regime can sync into Calm.
Before you start
You need the Admin role for your site and an SFG20 connection with at least one regime share link. If SFG20 shows Access required, your organisation must have the integration enabled first. Connect the integration and add share links in SFG20 Integration. Availability rules are covered in Integration availability.
Nothing from an unconfirmed regime is live in Calm until you confirm how each folder maps.
Open Folder Mapping
Go to Settings > Integrations and open the SFG20 integration.
Select the Folder Mapping tab.
If more than one regime is connected, select the regime you want to map.
The tab shows Needs Mapping when the regime has never been confirmed. It shows New Folders Need Review when new folders arrived after the last confirmation. Rows can also show Unconfirmed or Review badges.
If no regimes are connected yet, the empty state is No Locations Yet until a share link is added and folder data is available.
Map each folder
For every folder row, choose how it should map in Calm using the Folder, Map To, and Target columns.
In Map To, choose Location, Asset Class, or Ignore.
If you chose Location or Asset Class, pick an existing target in Target, or choose Create '<folder name>' to create one from the folder label during materialisation.
If you chose Ignore, the target shows Skipped β children still resolve upward. Child folders can still map to an ancestor target.
Location β use when the folder represents a place on your site. Confirmed location mappings are mirrored into Premises locations.
Asset Class β use when the folder should map to an asset class for maintenance schedules.
Ignore β use when the folder itself should not create a Calm record.
Click Save Draft to keep mapping changes without starting a sync. Drafts do not materialise locations, asset classes, or schedules.
Confirm the mapping
Review the Folder, Map To, and Target columns for the selected regime.
Click Confirm Mapping. If this regime was confirmed before, the button reads Re-confirm Mapping.
Calm saves any unsaved draft changes first, then starts the regime sync. When confirmation succeeds, you see Mapping confirmed β sync started. The footer shows the regime name and the last confirmed time after a successful confirmation.
Confirm stays unavailable while a save or confirm is already running, or when the regime has no folders to map.
Check the results
Open the Activity tab to review recent sync runs. Columns include Regime, Type, Trigger, Status, Added, Changed, Deleted, Locations, Diagnostics, and Time.
In Premises, check that folders mapped to Location appear as locations after the sync completes.
Check asset classes under the managed SFG20 Asset Types root for schedule asset types created from the sync.
Open the Assets tab when you need to review F-iQ asset matches. That tab needs an Asset register token before real F-iQ assets appear. See Manage SFG20 asset mappings.
For later manual pulls, use Sync now on the Regimes tab or from Overview when a regime needs attention. New folders that arrive after confirmation show New Folders Need Review until you map and confirm them again.
