Troubleshoot duplicate or missing Gantt bars

The Planner shows one bar per scheduled occurrence. If you see duplicate bars, missing bars, or outdated bars after deleting a work order, the cause is usually how the Gantt matches work orders to recurrence beats or how quickly the view refreshes.

Duplicate bars for a weekend-shifted schedule

Symptom: a schedule that skips weekends or shifts to working days shows two bars for the same occurrence.

Cause: the Gantt was matching work orders by the shifted operational date instead of the natural recurrence beat.

Resolution: the Planner now matches each bar by the natural recurrence beat first. Weekend-shifted schedules display one bar per beat. If you still see duplicates on an older view, refresh the page or use Jump to Today to reload the timeline.

An older work order is missing from the timeline

Symptom: a work order that was created before a schedule change does not appear on its expected bar.

Cause: the work order may have been keyed to the shifted operational date rather than the natural beat.

Resolution: the Gantt automatically falls back to operational-date matching when the natural beat key is not found. Older work orders should appear without manual action. If a bar is still empty, check that the work order is not closed with a Cancelled or Skipped resolution and that the schedule is active.

Gantt does not update after deleting a work order

Symptom: you delete a work order, but the Planner still shows the bar as planned or in progress.

Cause: the scheduled-work query was cached and did not refresh automatically after deletion.

Resolution: deleting a work order now invalidates the scheduled-work queries, so the Planner refreshes reliably. If the bar persists immediately after deletion, wait a few seconds and refresh the page.

Debug information for support

Each bar in the Planner now includes data-gantt-* debug attributes in the HTML. If you are working with support to diagnose a display issue, you can inspect the bar element in your browser and share those attributes. They contain the identifiers the Gantt used to match the bar to the work order and schedule occurrence.
