Fix routine coverage faults

The fault message says the routine has coverage targets, but no in-service assets on this site match them yet.

Cause Coverage is attached to the routine through asset classes, locations, or specific assets, but none of the linked targets are currently in service, or the routine scope does not match any active assets.

Fix

1. Check that the assets or locations attached to the routine are active and in service.

2. Link additional asset classes, asset definitions, or direct asset attachments to the routine coverage.

3. If the scope is too narrow, adjust the routine coverage so it matches assets that exist on the site.

The fault message says coverage rows exist, but none match a checklist target on this routine.

Cause The routine has coverage rows, but every row is skipped because there is no winning checklist target that applies to it. This usually means the checklist target scope is too restrictive for the attached coverage.

Fix

1. Open the routine and review the Checklist Targets section.

2. Widen the target scope or add targets that match the assets or locations already in coverage.

3. If the checklist targets are correct, remove or adjust the coverage rows that do not match any target.

You can deactivate a routine even if it has checklist or coverage faults. Deactivation skips checklist coverage validation, so turning a routine off does not require fixing every target or checklist mismatch first.

The error says Another checklist is already attached at this scope. Remove or rescope the existing checklist before attaching a different one at the same scope.

Cause The routine already has an active checklist targeted to the same location, asset, or asset model, and the system does not allow two different active checklists to share the same scope. This prevents ambiguous coverage when the routine generates work items.

Fix

1. Open the routine and review the Checklist Targets section.

2. Find the two checklists that share the same scope.

3. Remove one of the conflicting targets, or change its scope so it targets a different location, asset model, or asset class.

The error names the routine and two checklists, and says they are both scoped to the same location or asset. For example: Routine "X" has "Checklist A" and "Checklist B" both scoped to the same location "Plant Room". Remove or rescope one of them before saving.

Cause Multiple active checklists on the same routine share the same target scope, so the system cannot decide which checklist to use when generating work items for that coverage row.

Fix

1. Open the routine and review the Checklist Targets section.

2. Find the two checklists named in the error.

3. Remove one of the conflicting targets, or change its scope to a different location, asset, or asset model so the scopes no longer overlap.

The fault message says the next due date falls after the routine end date. When dates are available it includes the shifted due date, routine end date, and anchor date, and states that non-working day rules shifted the anchor past the end of the routine. It tells you to extend or clear the end date, or adjust the start date.

Cause The calculated next due is after the routine End Date. That can happen when non-working day rules push the anchor past the end, or when a manual Next Due override on an asset is past the end. In that case the calculated next due is cleared and is not kept past the routine window.

Fix

1. Open the routine and check the End Date on the Recurrence card. Extend it or clear it if the routine should keep running.

2. If an asset row shows a Next Due override past the end date, open the cell and choose Clear, or pick an earlier date.

3. If non-working day shifting is pushing due dates past the end, adjust the routine start date or working-day rules, or extend the end date.
